What moves the price

  • Call-out fees and one-hour minimums make small jobs disproportionately expensive. Batch them.
  • After-hours and urgent work carries premium rates.
  • Only registered electricians may do prescribed electrical work. Check the EWRB register (every TCH electrical profile shows its licence number).

Common questions

Why did a 20-minute job cost an hour?

Minimum charges cover travel and overhead. Save small jobs into one visit.

Do I need a certificate for the work?

Prescribed work requires certification (a CoC or ESC). Ask for it. It matters at insurance and sale time.
