The money

Flat membership, capped quoting

A job takes five quotes at most, and it is never resold as a lead. You quote because the job fits, not because you paid to see it. Membership is one price, the same whether you win two jobs or two hundred. Every job carries a readiness signal built from what the homeowner tells us about consent and ownership, so you can see what you are quoting before you spend an evening on it.

Verified where it can't be faked

We check 13 statutory licences against 12 official New Zealand registers (LBP, EWRB, Plumbers Board and the rest), alongside 25 industry bodies, with the licence number shown on your profile and the date it was checked. Google reviews import onto your listing.

Run the build inside TCH: programme, variations, extensions of time, progress claims, agreements signed online, drawings, site diary and RFIs, one workspace your client and your subs share. Included with Professional membership.

    Category, region, photos, services. Locals can find it once you publish.

    You give us your licence number

    The number itself, not a scan of a certificate.

    Someone here checks it

    Against the public register that issues it, by hand. We name the register on your profile.

    The badge carries the date

    Verified, with the day it was checked. It ages out and comes back to us before it can quietly go stale.

The job runs inside TCH from there: every variation priced and its decision dated, on the same record as the programme, progress claims and site diary. It comes with Professional membership, the tier that runs your own projects.

The questions trades actually ask

Are there tokens, credits or per-job fees?

No hidden fees. Membership is the only ongoing cost: no credits, no minimums, no lock-in.

Is Free really free, forever?

Yes. Your profile, your reviews, being found and browsing the board are all free, and we never ask for a card.

What is The Live Interface?

The workspace the job itself runs in: client and contractor in one place, material boards and plans approved from home, every project register kept current while the job moves.

Can I change plans?

Not until paid membership opens. From then you move between plans in your portal, with no phone calls and no lock-in.

What about GST?

No price is published on this page yet. When one is, it states GST beside it, and the receipt for each payment shows what you paid.

How does posting a job work?

Posting a job is free, and it stays free at launch. If a listing fee is ever introduced, it will be published here before it applies.
