NZ Institute of Quantity Surveyors
Registered quantity surveyor, a cost and contract specialist.
Voluntary. A standard the business opted into, not a legal requirement.
How to check it yourself
New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors publishes a public search. Look up the name or the number a business gave you. You do not need TCH, or an account, to do it.
Open the NZIQS register →What a TCH badge adds
When a member claims this, someone at TCH checks it against the source and stamps the date. The badge shows that date and expires after 12 months, so it stops claiming anything once it ages out. Anything a business has only told us stays marked self-declared.
